Vom verheerenden Stadtbrand bis zu Märklin spannt sich der Themenbogen der am 19. Juni wieder eröffneten Dauerausstellung.
Federal Minister of Environment Dr. Barbara Hendricks opened the new Dahlem Seedbank building at the Botanical Garden Berlin. Over 7.000 seed-collections from all over the world are currently stored, many of them originate from rare and endangered species. Through the large windows visitors are able to have an insight into the work facilities. An exhibition surrounding the building conveys the purpose of the seed bank.

On 29 March 2015 the new permanent exhibition opens its gates.
A »peasant castle« – the representative farm house dating from 1799 originally stood in the village of Gäufelden-Öschelbronn. At the new location in the open-air museum Beuren, the time around 1927 will come alive.
In his lecture »Three principles of exhibition design Ulrich Schwarz takes a view on the role of the designer in the field of tension between mission, personal attitude and design process.
The new permanent exhibition covers the gamut of the latest technologies to the pioneering developments of the historical beginnings in 10 “Lanes“.
Guest of honor Buzz Aldrin was pleased to recognize the camera with ZEISS optics at the opening in Oberkochen, with which he photographed the iconographic images of the moon landing.
The traveling exhibition of the Foundation Federal President-Theodor-Heuss-House provides an insight into the life and work of the first German Federal President of the post-war period and his wife Elly Heuss-Knapp.
The kick-off presentation of the exhibition – consisting of 14 transport boxes modules – can be viewed at the Town Hall of Stuttgart until the 20th of July.
The permanent exhibition “what remains – After-effects of the Concentration Camp Memorial Flossenbürg” received, together with the “Kazerne Dossin Memorial” in Mechelen, Belgium, the honorary prize of the jury.
After the Bavarian Museum Award 2011, the memorial has been honored as the only German Museum in Tallinn again.
The significant European event of peace »der Friede von Rastatt« celebrates its jubilee in 2014.
The special exhibition will be opened during a ceremonial act on 6th March 2014 in the Stadtmuseum Rastatt.

Prof. Ulrich Schwarz annotates in his keynote lecture, “Old and new media formats” with examples from practice.
After an elaborate and careful redesign, the Mendelssohn-Haus museum has been reopened with a ceremonial act at the Gewandhaus Leipzig on 3rd February 2014. The new permanent exhibition in the residential and place of death of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, with „Sound Archive”, “Effektorium” and a charming café is dedicated to the world famous composer.

BSF won, together with Art + Com and Redia, the international competition designing the extended exhibition of the Danish National Museum Kongernes Jelling.
The ensemble of church, burial mounds and runes stones was declared as UNESCO World Heritage in 1994 and is one of the most important archeological sites in Denmark.
